<div>Sodoro Law Group is seeking an experienced litigation attorney to join our defense practice. This role may be structured as full-time or part-time and is ideal for an attorney seeking flexibility while maintaining an active, meaningful litigation caseload.</div><div><br></div><div>The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of experience in insurance defense, workers’ compensation, and/or general liability matters and be licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Kansas and Missouri. </div><div><br></div><div><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></div><div><br></div><div>Manage defense litigation matters from inception through resolution </div><div>Analyze complex legal and factual issues and develop strategic defense strategies </div><div>Draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and discovery responses </div><div>Conduct depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations </div><div>Prepare witnesses and evidence for hearings, trial, and ADR </div><div>Communicate strategy, risk analysis, and recommendations to clients </div><div>Collaborate with partners, clients, and claims professionals</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Qualifications</strong></div><div><br></div><div>3+ years of litigation experience in Insurance Defense, Workers’ Compensation, and/or General Liability </div><div>Licensed in Kansas or Missouri (both preferred; willingness to obtain reciprocal licensure required if applicable) </div><div>Strong motion practice and writing skills </div><div>Ability to independently manage deadlines and caseload </div><div>Excellent communication skills </div><div>Highly organized and detail-oriented</div><div><br></div><div>Candidate may work remotely from anywhere in Kansas or Missouri, provided they are able to travel to the Omaha, Kansas City, and/or St. Louis area periodically for meetings, collaboration, hearings, or client needs.</div>
