Edkey is a company seeking an Associate Experience Designer (UI/UX) to contribute to end-to-end product design for mobile, tablet, and web experiences. The role involves collaborating with design leads and engineers to create user-centered solutions, wireframes, and prototypes for consumer-facing digital products.


Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design thinking process and contribute to user-centered solutions
  • Conduct user research and synthesize findings into user goals, journey maps, and information architecture
  • Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs for web and mobile
  • Apply design fundamentals — layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and accessibility best practices
  • Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure pixel‑perfect implementation and practical component design
  • Partner with strategy and product teams to align designs with business objectives and KPIs
  • Learn and apply modern design tools and workflows (Figma, prototyping, design systems)

Skills

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design fundamentals and digital product work
  • Solid understanding of typography, layout, visual hierarchy, and interaction design
  • Experience or familiarity with Figma (or similar design/prototyping tools)
  • Ability to communicate design decisions clearly to cross-functional teams
  • Detail-oriented with a collaborative, growth-oriented mindset
  • Bachelor's degree in design, HCI, or related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Coursework or certificate experience from programs like BrainStation or other UX bootcamps
  • Prior experience working on consumer mobile apps or large-scale web products
  • Familiarity with design systems, accessibility (WCAG), or user testing methodologies
