<p>Position Objective: To support and champion the overall mission and vision of Christ the Redeemer, especially as it pertains to the direction and oversight of the children and youth ministries.</p><br>Find out exactly what skills, experience, and qualifications you will need to succeed in this role before applying below.<br><p>To Apply</p><p>Send a resume and cover letter to [email protected]</p><p>General Responsibilities:</p><p>Rule of Life</p><ul><li>Cultivate a rule of prayer and devotion as modeled after the daily offices of morning and evening prayer</li><li>Communication: maintain open and regular communication with my rector and bishop providing reports where required</li><li>Diocesan: Serve in various ways as requested by the bishop</li></ul><p>Specific Responsibilities:</p><p>Children’s Ministry (ages 0-6th grade)</p><ul><li>In collaboration with the rector, nurture and maintain the vision for children’s ministry at Christ the Redeemer.</li><li>Oversee the part time children’s director</li><li>Oversee the Christ Kids ministry</li><li>Oversee children’s Sunday school</li><li>Oversee a vacation Bible school</li><li>Develop and maintain the annual children’s ministries budget</li><li>Support and partner with the parents of the children at Christ the Redeemer as they raise their children in the faith.</li><li>Partner with the rector to attend to the pastoral needs of children and families</li></ul><p>Youth Ministry (7th-12th grade)</p><ul><li>In collaboration with the rector, nurture and maintain the vision for youth ministry at Christ the Redeemer.</li><li>Lead the regular youth group at Christ the Redeemer</li><li>Lead the youth on Fall and Winter retreats</li><li>Empower, train, and support a team of volunteers to serve the youth of Christ the Redeemer.</li><li>Establish and execute a confirmation course for our youth.</li><li>Develop and maintain the annual youth ministries budget</li><li>Partner with the rector to attend to the pastoral needs of youth and families.</li></ul><p>Family Ministry</p><ul><li>Assist parents through teaching, counseling, and pastoral care</li></ul><p>General Pastoral Duties</p><ul><li>Regularly pray for parishioners and their children</li><li>Assist the rector with baptism preparation</li><li>Assist the rector with hospital visits</li><li>Preach about 10 times a year</li><li>Celebrate the sacraments in coordination with the rector</li><li>Assist the rector in mid and long-range planning</li><li>Other duties as assigned by the rector</li></ul><br>#J-18808-Ljbffr

Salary: USD 36000 - 60000 per year
