Position Overview

As an Associate Network Security Engineer – IT Data Security Specialist at arenaflex, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and supporting the essential infrastructure that ensures the operational sustainability of our critical systems. You will work closely with our Enterprise Security Group to protect our applications, internal and external connectivity, partner integrations, and vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a wide range of technical and operational duties designed to safeguard arenaflex's digital infrastructure. Here's what you can expect:


  • Infrastructure Security Support: Provide comprehensive IT support to ensure secure internal, partner, vendor, and external connectivity to arenaflex's applications across multiple critical data center environments.

  • Firewall Management: Maintain and administer firewall hardware and software, including site implementations, inventory management, system planning, preventive maintenance, and break/fix services for mission-critical data center infrastructure.

  • Remote Access Solutions: Support Enterprise Remote Access Clients by aligning client edge security technology with user-based workstation configurations. You'll have the opportunity to work with advanced technologies including Application ID and User ID for granular user identification.

  • Airport Operations Connectivity: Manage mobile connectivity solutions for airport operations, including Netmotion deployment, hardware and software maintenance, site implementations, and system optimization.

  • Policy Coordination: Collaborate with business departments through consultation services, responsible for firewall policies and access control direction to ensure seamless operations while maintaining security standards.

  • On-Call Support: Provide functional on-call support for critical facilities and infrastructure components within the Enterprise Security domain, ensuring 24/7 operational readiness.

  • Compliance and Governance: Support the IT Data Security division in maintaining the integrity and operational continuity of enterprise data and applications while ensuring compliance with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Documentation and Process Improvement: Recommend and implement departmental policies, guidelines, regulations, and procedures. Ensure accurate documentation and maintain best practices for all security operations.

  • Project Management: Lead data center and remote communication room standards capital improvements, upgrades, and enhancements while ensuring accurate documentation and optimal vendor pricing.

  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with service providers to ensure that contractual obligations are met and service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently achieved.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Qualifications


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.

  • Technical Foundation: A solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, and security protocols. Familiarity with cloud networking and security principles is highly desirable.

  • System Administration: Experience with managing and maintaining server infrastructure, both on-premises and in cloud environments.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical abilities to diagnose and resolve issues related to security infrastructure and its integration with various systems.

  • Security Monitoring: Proficiency in monitoring and analyzing security logs and events to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
