About This Opportunity
We're currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Associate Customer Service Representatives to join our growing team. This is a fully remote position with a start date of March 4th, 2024. The role operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time Zone, offering you the stability of a traditional schedule with the flexibility of working from home.

Compensation and Rewards

- Competitive Pay: The estimated pay range for this role is $16.00 - $19.00 per hour. Offers to top candidates are based on various factors such as previous experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
- New Hire Bonus: You'll receive a $2,000 bonus paid in two installments of $1,000 each—first after 6 months and second after 12 months of employment. You must remain in the role to receive each installment payment.
- Growth Opportunities: We offer continued salary growth through performance-based incentive programs, giving you the ability to increase your earnings as you develop in your role.
- Pay Level: 014

What You'll Do for arenaflex
As an Associate Customer Advocate, you'll be the friendly voice that members, providers, or customers turn to when they need assistance. Your mission will be to educate, support, and resolve inquiries while promoting a favorable image of arenaflex. You'll be handling a variety of responsibilities that make a real difference in people's healthcare journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides assistance, service, and education to members, providers, or customers through various channels including telephone, internet, and written inquiries
- Ensures accuracy and timeliness in responding to all inquiries, maintaining our high standards of service quality
- Processes and resolves customer issues with varying complexities, from basic questions to more challenging situations
- Documents interactions and correspondence with members or providers in a clear and concise manner, ensuring they are tracked appropriately for future reference
- Applies computer-based skills to navigate multiple systems and internal resources to address inquiries and gather plan details for members or providers while maintaining timeliness standards and inventory levels
- Maintains base knowledge of insurance terms and practices along with various company offered products
- Performs work under direct supervision, handling basic issues and problems while referring more complex issues to higher-level staff
You'll work in a structured, fast-paced call center environment, but you won't be alone on your journey. What You Need to Succeed

Education and Experience:
- A High School Diploma or GED with 1 year of experience in customer service or related experience is required
- 1 year of experience in an office-based setting or a contact center environment is highly preferred
- An equivalent combination of education, experience, or training determined to be acceptable by Human Resources may be substituted, unless regulated by contract or program standards
Technical Requirements:
- A private work-space free from distractions
- Fast-paced internet with a hard-wired internet connection (not wireless) for reliable connectivity
- Technology savvy with the ability to navigate multiple computer programs and application systems
Essential Skills:
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written—you'll be interacting with members daily
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving processes
- Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity standards
- Problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused attitude
- Attention to detail when documenting interactions
