As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for growing Align’s business—Invisalign and iTero—by working with dentists / orthodontists as customers in your designated area. With your ability and experience to lead a team, guiding their thinking and earning their support through initiative, action, and drive for results, you will make a significant impact.

Role expectations


  • Manage, coach, and motivate an assigned team of Territory Managers. 
  • Provide leadership and coaching to Territory Managers in one-on-one and group settings. 
  • Support and guide Territory Managers in developing sales plans and strategies to reach their targets. 
  • Ensure Territory Managers address customers with specific action plans. 
  • Provide training in product knowledge, customer segmentation, and selling skills. 
  • Identify and resolve customer concerns when required. 
  • Hire high-caliber Territory Managers to maintain a high-performance team. 
  • Balance short-term operational needs with the long-term organizational needs of the business. 
  • Regularly report sales performance of your team to the Business Unit Manager. 
  • Collaborate with a network of business leader colleagues to develop new ideas for driving sales


What we're looking for


  • Minimum of 5-8 years sales experience, with at least 2-3 years managing a sales team. 
  • Preferably experience in the medical device or healthcare industry. 
  • Natural ability to spot business opportunities and to persuade and influence others. 
  • Advocate for digital products and workflows to help grow doctors’ practices. 
  • Strong business analytical skills, experience in budget management and planning. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English. 
  • Advanced presentation, negotiation, and coaching skills. 
  • Full, clean driving license.
