Overview

We are looking for a skilled Draftsman / CAD Technician to produce permit-ready residential construction drawings.

This is a project-based role with consistent work for the right candidate. You do not need to be U.S.-based, but you must have experience working with U.S. residential plans and permit standards.

Speed, accuracy, and the ability to revise based on redlines are critical.

Scope of Work
• Prepare full permit drawing sets
• Floor plans, elevations, sections, and site plans
• Construction details and layouts
• Revise drawings based on markups/redlines
• Ensure drawings meet U.S. standards and are properly dimensioned
• Maintain clean, organized drawing files

Requirements
• Proven experience with residential permit drawings
• Strong understanding of construction layouts and detailing
• Ability to interpret and execute redlines quickly
• High attention to detail

Software

Required:
• AutoCAD

Preferred:
• Revit
• Bluebeam
• SketchUp
• SoftPlan

Deliverables
• Organized CAD/Revit source files
• Permit-ready PDF drawing sets
• Revisions based on city comments

File sharing via Google Drive / Dropbox / OneDrive

Communication
• Clear English communication
• Available for Zoom if needed
• Responsive within 24 hours

Compensation
