API Integration Developer — HubSpot-Connected Workflows | Ongoing Partnership

I'm a HubSpot consultant looking to build a reliable subcontractor relationship with a developer who specializes in API integrations. I manage client relationships and HubSpot strategy — I need a skilled dev partner for the code layer on projects that go beyond native HubSpot functionality.

Types of projects I'm scoping:

Webhook-triggered automations that call external REST APIs and write data back to HubSpot properties

Integrations involving JWT-authenticated APIs and order/workflow automation with third-party platforms

Middleware builds using Make (preferred) to connect HubSpot with external data sources

What I need:

• -Solid experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON data handling

• -HubSpot familiarity — custom properties, workflows, and API a strong plus

• -Make (Integromat) experience preferred over n8n or custom-hosted solutions

• -Clear, consistent communicator — I need status updates without having to chase you

• -Available for ongoing project-based work, not just one-time builds

How this works:

You'd operate as a subcontractor. I own the client relationship and HubSpot deliverables. You own the integration logic. I provide specs and stay involved — this is a collaborative working relationship, not a set-it-and-forget-it handoff.
