Lincoln Avenue Communities (LAC) is a leading real estate private equity firm focused on affordable housing development and preservation. The Asset Management Analyst will support asset management activities, perform portfolio analysis, and contribute to the long-term performance of LAC's diverse portfolio.


Responsibilities

  • Support the Asset Management team to execute community-level investment plans and maximize investment returns
  • Review and analyze property performance to identify variances and value-add opportunities through revenue enhancement and expense saving initiatives
  • Collect, analyze, and report data in a concise manner outlining key takeaways and trends
  • Conduct financial analysis and support due diligence for key capital events, including but not limited to financing, acquisitions, transitions, and rehab investments
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly reporting, ensuring timely, accurate, consistent, and complete deliverables
  • Evaluate and help enhance current reporting tools and process and procedures as directed
  • Maintain organized filing systems and databases to ensure integrity of data and documentation
  • Assists with ad-hoc/special projects and tasks as needed

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, urban planning, real estate development, or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in commercial real estate (CRE), affordable housing, asset management, financial analysis, or a related field preferred
  • Adaptability and eagerness to learn, especially in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling, data collection, and reporting
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to present findings to internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and experience managing multiple tasks and priorities
  • Team-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments, including finance, construction, and development teams
  • Ability to travel (less than 10% of time)
