Responsibilities

  • Researching qualified individual, foundation, and corporate donor prospects and creating profiles
  • Writing content for communications such as emails, letters, proposals, and brochures
  • Assisting with data entry, clean-up, and analysis
  • Creating, maintaining, and coordinating project schedules and tasks across various internal and external parties to ensure timely project completion
  • Acquiring proficiency in AmPhil systems and Microsoft Office programs and assisting with the formatting and editing of projects on these platforms
  • Developing familiarity with key fundraising concepts, as well as important ideas and figures in AmPhil’s landscape
  • Providing proofing and quality control support
  • Scheduling meetings, taking meeting notes, drafting emails and agendas, and performing other administrative tasks
  • Contributing to firm culture through strong engagement, communication, collegiality, and conviviality

Skills

  • At least one year of professional experience
  • Ability to spend time in AmPhil's Denver-area office in Littleton on a regular basis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong engagement, communication, collegiality, and conviviality
  • A liberal arts background
  • Some familiarity with nonprofits and fundraising
