Role Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Artificial Intelligence (AI) Consultant to support the design and implementation of a K–12 CTE Data Science & AI program. This role focuses on program design, curriculum development, and implementation readiness—not software engineering. The consultant will collaborate with educators, district leadership, and industry partners to build a scalable, workforce-aligned AI education pathway.Key Responsibilities Program Design & Implementation Readiness
  • Develop a comprehensive, implementation-ready program design package, including:
  • Course sequencing and structure
  • Staffing model and operational dependencies
  • Industry partnership strategy
  • Design CTE-aligned AI curriculum frameworks
  • , define course-level scope and sequence, and develop project-based learning strategies
  • Integrate:
  • AI ethics, data privacy, and bias awareness
  • Industry-aligned competencies and standards
    Credential & Pathway Alignment
  • Build micro-credential pathways aligned with coursework
  • Coordinate with higher education and training partners
  • AI Lab Design (Advisory Only)
  • Conduct AI lab feasibility and design scoping
  • Define:
  • Use cases and lab concepts
  • Layout and infrastructure requirements
  • High-level network and power considerations
  • Support procurement planning (advisory only; no implementation)
  • Partnership & Workforce-Based Learning (WBL)
  • Develop industry partnership engagement models
  • Roles and responsibilities
  • Design mentor programs and WBL frameworks
  • Evaluation & Reporting
  • Define performance metrics and success indicators
  • Develop a data collection strategy
  • Deliver a final recommendations report for scaling and continuous improvement
  • Requirements
    Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an AI Consultant or AI Practitioner
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • AI tools, orchestration platforms, and prompt engineering
  • Experience delivering implementation-ready programs (not just strategy) li>
  • Strong background in:
  • Experience working in multi-stakeholder environments (education + industry)
  • Ability to translate complex AI concepts into curriculum and learning frameworks
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in CTE program design
  • Exposure to AI-related domains such as:
  • Familiarity with:
  • Post secondary pathways and credentialing systems
  • Strong commitment to equitable, student-centered learning
  • This role focuses on:
  • Implementation readiness
