The major challenges of this position are to coordinate and communicate with multiple departments and outside consultants and contractors involved with the project, such as the project manager, purchasing, receiving, accounting and clinical engineering. Other related duties and overtime may be required.
It is common to encounter potential hazards in the health care environment. Some of these hazards could include, but are not limited to: Radiation, Toxic Chemicals, Biological Hazards, Heat, Noise, Dust and Stress. Renown Health has a Safety Management Program in place addressing these issues.
The incumbent must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
1. Interpersonal skills necessary to deal with a diverse group of individuals and ability to establish strong cooperative working relationships.
2. Working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft applications.
3. Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial transactions and recognize areas for improvement and initiate a plan for corrective action with prior approval.
4. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
5. Ability to maintain organized record keeping documents and working environment.
6. Ability to work under pressure, with minimal supervision.
7. Ability to work extended hours to meet deadlines.
8. Ability to plan and organize, maintain priorities and schedules, and meet deadlines.
9. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
10. Actively supports and models Renown Health Standards of Conduct.
