They are seeking an Accountant & General Ledger Specialist to maintain the general ledger, reconcile accounts, prepare financial statements, and assist with audits and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining the general ledger
- Reconciling accounts
- Preparing financial statements and reports
- Assisting with audits and regulatory compliance
- Monitoring incoming and outgoing transactions
- Ensuring accurate financial records
- Assisting with budgeting
- Collaborating across departments to maintain precision in financial processes
Skills
- Proficiency in General Ledger Maintenance, Journal Entries, Financial Reporting, and Reconciliation
- Knowledge of Accounting Principles, Account Analysis, and Budgeting Processes
- Experience with Financial Software, Data Management, and Payroll Processing
- Strong Analytical, Organizational, and Problem-Solving Skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in the financial services industry or credit union environment is a plus
