About the Role
The Yard Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of trailers, trucks, and goods through our distribution center. This position is essential for maintaining our high delivery standards and addressing our customers' needs promptly. As part of our distribution team, you'll be responsible for managing the movement of trailers in and out of our facility, coordinating with various internal teams, and ensuring accurate documentation of all yard activities. What You'll Do
As a Yard Administrator at arenaflex, you will be at the heart of our distribution center operations. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Trailer Check-In and Check-Out: You will be responsible for checking in and out all trailers entering and leaving the yard, meticulously logging each trailer's status. This includes recording the trailer number, seal number, trailer status (full or empty), tractor number, load number, date, and time. Accuracy in these records is crucial for maintaining inventory integrity and ensuring seamless operations.
- Trailer Inspection and Documentation: You will review all inbound and outbound trailers on the log sheet to ensure everything is properly documented. This involves thorough attention to detail to catch any discrepancies early and prevent operational issues down the line.
- System Entry and Updates: You will accurately load and/or dispatch shipments into our warehouse, transportation, and yard management systems. Proficiency with computer systems is essential for this function, as you'll be updating critical records in real-time.
- Yard Management and Reconciliation: You will conduct daily yard checks and reconcile the findings with yard inventory. This proactive approach ensures that our yard remains organized and that all trailers are accounted for at all times.
- Trailer Movement Coordination: You will plan and communicate trailer movement within the yard to switchers, dock supervisors, and transportation coordinators. Effective communication is key to ensuring smooth operations and preventing bottlenecks.

Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Previous experience in management, warehousing, or fulfillment operations
- Ability to work all shifts and overtime as required by business needs
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and other administrative/planning tools

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
