Key Responsibilities
As a valued member of the arenaflex Customer Care team, you will:
- Handle Inbound Customer Calls: Respond to incoming calls from pharmacy benefit plan members with enthusiasm, patience, and professionalism. Every call is an opportunity to brighten someone's day and help them navigate their health care journey.
- Answer Insurance Questions: Provide accurate information regarding prescription insurance coverage, including copays, deductibles, formulary medications, and prior authorization requirements. Your knowledge will help members understand their benefits and maximize their coverage.
- Explain Medication Coverage: Assist members in understanding which medications are covered under their plan, alternative options available, and the reasoning behind coverage decisions. Your clear explanations can make a significant difference in someone's health outcomes.
- Mail Order Prescription Support: Guide members through the mail-order prescription process, helping them understand how to order, track, and manage their medications for convenient home delivery.
- Problem Resolution: Address member concerns and complaints with a solution-oriented mindset. Listen actively, empathize genuinely, and work collaboratively to find satisfactory resolutions that improve the member's experience.
- Educate and Empower: Offer guidance on how members can better utilize their pharmacy benefits, including information about generic alternatives, 90-day supply options, and cost-saving programs.
- Document Interactions: Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions in our computer systems, ensuring continuity of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Meet Performance Standards: Achieve or exceed established metrics for call handling time, customer satisfaction, and quality scores while maintaining compliance with all company policies and procedures.

What We're Looking For: Required Qualifications
To excel in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Customer Interaction Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a customer-facing role, which may include call center environments, retail positions, hospitality industry positions, military service, or other customer service settings. - Geographic Requirement: Must reside within 75 miles of Las Vegas, Nevada. This requirement ensures we can provide the necessary on-site training and support during your transition to the arenaflex team.
- Availability: Must be willing to work a full-time schedule with varying hours. Our business operates from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM local time, and schedules may rotate to support organizational needs. Days off will vary based on business requirements.
