<strong>Job Summary<br><br></strong>Oversees the inventory function for Samsung sites by updating records and maintaining control of materials and products. Maintains the control systems, avoiding excessive stocks and materials shortages.<br><br><strong>Job Responsibilities<br><br></strong>For Samsung facilities, manages the Inventory function:<br><br><ul><li>Ensures the accuracy of inventory counts.</li><li>Acts a liaison to determine obsolete stock while optimizing inventory turnover.</li><li>Ensures proper levels of stock via inventory control.</li><li>Advises Neovia client management teams on initiatives to improve customer service, inventory performance and overall supply chain performance.</li><li>Assists in managing existing client relationships.</li><li>Meets client needs including enhancements to systems and/or Inventory Control.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University in a closely related field</li><li>5+ years’ relevant experience<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred<br><br></strong><ul><li>Advanced degree from an accredited University in a closely related field</li><li>Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) designation</li><li>6 Sigma or other continuous improvement experience<br><br></li></ul><strong>Physical Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li>Work is primarily sedentary. Sits comfortably to do the work; however, there may be some walking, standing, bending, or lifting item weighing up to 15 pounds. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Additional Info<br><br></strong><ul><li>Knowledge of Inventory Control philosophies and systems</li><li>Experience with multiple demand/inventory planning systems</li><li>Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships </li><li>Strong organization, delegation and project management skills</li></ul>
