What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities
As a Strategy & Analytics Consultant at arenaflex, you'll serve as a critical bridge between complex data and strategic decision-making. Your work will directly influence our operational efficiency, network planning, and overall business performance. Here's what you can expect:
- Research & Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of industry trends, providing insights that inform the development of new strategies, policies, and operational frameworks. You'll monitor market dynamics, competitor activities, and emerging trends to keep arenaflex ahead of the curve.
- Data Platform Development: Play an active role in understanding, improving, and sharing available data tools across different business units. You'll help democratize data access while maintaining quality and consistency standards.
- Technical Problem-Solving: Leverage your expertise in SQL, Alteryx, Python, R, Tableau, and Big Data Concepts to provide innovative solutions to complex business challenges. You'll transform raw data into easily understood, visually compelling, and actionable findings.
- Model Development: Participate in the development and enhancement of predictive models and strategic frameworks. You'll support the implementation of these models across various teams, ensuring seamless integration and maximum value extraction.
- Technical Leadership: Facilitate and share technical guidance on concepts and topics across the organization. You'll serve as a subject matter expert, mentoring colleagues and driving analytical excellence throughout the company.
- Optimization Analysis: Conduct assessments using advanced optimization and other analytical tools to create and evaluate scenarios that provide insights into how different business units perform under various conditions.
- Data Governance: Implement appropriate data management practices, including strict adherence to privacy standards and data protection protocols. You'll handle highly sensitive and personal data with the utmost professionalism and security.
- Executive Communication: Prepare and deliver presentations to senior leadership and large audiences. You'll translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives that drive strategic decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Demonstrate a deep understanding of how different areas within the company interact, and visualize cohesive strategies that can be implemented across multiple teams and departments.
- Additional Duties: Perform various analytical duties as directed by leadership, contributing to the overall success of the Strategy & Analytics team and the organization as a whole.
What We're Looking For: Required Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need a combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Here are our essential requirements:
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
Experience
- Advanced-level experience in Network Planning or Airline Operations
- Proven expertise in data collection, applied data analysis, business assessment, and presentation development
- Demonstrated success in providing strategic insights to Senior Leadership
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with Alteryx or similar data manipulation software
- Proficiency in Tableau or other data visualization platforms
Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of SQL (Oracle, Teradata, PostgreSQL)
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, R, or similar)
- Experience with Big Data Concepts and cloud-based analytics platforms
- Familiarity with optimization software and analytical tools
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for data analysis and presentation creation
