Position Overview: Specialty Pharmacy Customer Service Representative
As a Specialty Pharmacy Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will serve as a critical liaison between our patients, healthcare providers, insurance companies, and our internal pharmacy teams. Your primary responsibility is to provide exceptional telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug treatments. You'll be handling the complete lifecycle of patient prescription requests—from initial intake through fulfillment and ongoing support. This includes verifying and updating insurance benefits, interpreting and entering new prescriptions or refill requests into our pharmacy management system, collecting copay amounts, obtaining prior authorizations, and coordinating with insurance carriers, healthcare providers, and internal teams to monitor, identify, resolve, and approve orders that present billing complications or clinical concerns.
