Job Description
Solution Design & Architecture
Own the technical design and solution architecture across Vendavo VPP and CPQ engagements, from requirements through deployment and hypercare
Develop and maintain solution design documents, data flow diagrams, integration architecture specs, and configuration workbooks
Define pricing waterfall structures, deal management workflows, floor/target/ceiling configurations, and CPQ guided-selling logic in alignment with client commercial strategy
Lead fit-gap analysis sessions and translate complex business pricing requirements into platform-ready configuration specifications
Establish and enforce solution standards, configuration governance, and design patterns across engagement teams
Integration & Technical Leadership
Architect integrations between Vendavo and enterprise ERP platforms (SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and CRM systems (Salesforce, MS Dynamics 365)
Lead technical workstream execution including API design, data mapping, ETL pipeline specifications, and master data alignment for pricing-relevant entities (materials, customers, price lists, conditions)
Define and oversee data migration strategy including historical pricing data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and load into Vendavo
Partner with client IT and enterprise architecture teams to ensure solutions are aligned with broader technology landscape and security standards
Guide performance testing, integration testing, and UAT design to validate solution integrity prior to go-live
Client Engagement & Advisory
Engage as a trusted advisor with client pricing leaders, IT architects, and commercial operations teams throughout the project lifecycle
Facilitate solution design workshops, architecture review sessions, and executive readouts with VP and C-suite stakeholders
Proactively identify scope risks, architecture gaps, and technical debt — communicating mitigation options clearly to both project and client leadership
Support pre-sales activities including solution demonstrations, RFP responses, effort estimation, and SOW scoping for Vendavo-related opportunities
Practice & Capability Development
Build and maintain reusable solution accelerators, architecture templates, configuration guides, and integration patterns to advance delivery quality and speed
Mentor junior architects and functional consultants; conduct architecture reviews and provide hands-on technical coaching
Stay current on Vendavo product roadmap updates, new module releases, and platform capabilities; maintain and grow practice knowledge base
Qualifications
Required
8+ years of enterprise software implementation experience, with at least 4 years in a solution architect or senior technical consultant capacity
Deep hands-on expertise with Vendavo VPP (Price Manager, Deal Manager, Profit Analyzer) and Vendavo CPQ across multiple full-lifecycle implementations
Strong command of pricing domain concepts: pricing waterfall, pocket margin, price segmentation, deal scoring, margin analytics, rebate and contract management
Proven experience architecting Vendavo integrations with SAP (preferred), Oracle, or Microsoft ERP environments including data mapping and API design
Proficiency with integration middleware and API frameworks (REST, SOAP, SAP PI/PO, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or equivalent)
Ability to produce and own technical documentation: solution design documents, data dictionaries, integration specs, and architecture diagrams
Strong executive communication skills; ability to present complex architecture decisions in plain language to non-technical stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
Willingness to travel up to 60% based on client engagement needs
Advanced written and Spoken English fluency
Preferred
Vendavo Certified Professional (VCP) designation or completion of Vendavo partner training curriculum
Experience with adjacent pricing platforms (PROS, Zilliant, Pricefx) as a point of competitive differentiation
Familiarity with Salesforce CPQ architecture and the design considerations for Vendavo/Salesforce co-existence or migration scenarios
Background in commercial pricing strategy, price management operations, or revenue management in addition to platform implementation
Experience in B2B-intensive industries such as industrial manufacturing, chemicals, distribution, medical devices, or enterprise software
Exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) as it relates to Vendavo cloud deployment and data pipeline architecture

Contract Type: 100% remote contractor position (other contractual details will be defined at a later stage).
Contract/project Duration: To be confirmed.
Location: The client is based in the United States; however, the position is 100% remote for nearshore candidates located in Brazil.
Work Schedule: Full-time (8 hours per day, 40 hours per week), aligned with U.S. time zones.
Equipment: Contractors are required to use their own laptop/PC.
Start date expectation: As soon as possible.
Payment methods: International bank transfer, PayPal, Wise, Payoneer, etc.
Rate: currently under market assessment and will be shared once confirmed by the client.
