Beauty by Earth is looking for a hands-on experienced Ecommerce Specialist to own day-to-day Shopify execution and conversion performance across our DTC storefront. This role is not theoretical or advisory. You will be in the store daily — managing apps and integrations, maintaining site health, building and optimizing PDPs, launching upsells, and continuously improving conversion rate (CVR), average order value (AOV), and revenue per visitor. You’ll work closely with Growth, Retention, Creative, Ops, and CX, but this role owns execution. If something breaks, converts poorly, or leaves money on the table — it’s yours to fix.
Key Responsibilities
Shopify Store Operations
Own day-to-day Shopify execution: products, collections, pricing, promos, navigation, content updates, and QA
Maintain a clean, stable, mobile-first storefront with minimal friction
Proactively identify and resolve site issues before customers feel them
Apps, Integrations & Maintenance
Manage and maintain our Shopify app ecosystem
Troubleshoot integration issues and reduce app bloat
Ensure integrations are functioning correctly across checkout, post-purchase, subscriptions, CX, etc.
CRO & Performance Optimization
Identify funnel drop-offs from PDP → cart → checkout
Implement CRO improvements focused on:
Conversion rate (CVR)
Average order value (AOV)
Revenue per visitor
Use tools like Microsoft Clarity to analyze behavior and inform changes
Continuously test, refine, and improve
PDP Creation & Optimization
Build and optimize PDPs with strong product storytelling, trust signals, and clean UX
Improve layout, copy placement, imagery flow, reviews, FAQs, and conversion elements
Partner with Creative and Growth to turn insights into live improvements
Upsells, Bundles & Testing
Create and optimize:
PDP upsells
Cart and checkout upsells
Post-purchase offers
Bundles and cross-sell flows
Run A/B tests, track results, and iterate based on performance
Inventory & Order Management
Monitor inventory levels and product availability
Coordinate with Operations and Customer Service to resolve order, fulfillment, or stock issues.
Identify and flag inventory risks that could impact conversions or customer service.
Reporting & Insights
Track and report on key ecommerce KPIs:
CVR
AOV
Revenue per visitor
Share insights, learnings, and recommended next actions — not just data dumps
What We’re Looking For
A native to Shopify Plus Eco System, know tools, metafields, and systems inside out.
1-2 years minimum experience managing live Shopify storefronts
Strong CRO instincts with comfort using data to drive decisions
Experience working with ecommerce apps, integrations, and troubleshooting issues
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-driven
Curious, self-motivated, and constantly learning
Strong written and spoken English
Comfortable working cross-functionally with speed and accountability
What success looks like:
A stable, fast, and high-converting Shopify store optimized for desktop and mobile
High CVR, AOV, and Revenue per visitor
Strong PDPs that convert and strategic upsell/cross-sell plans
Full ownership of the channel.
