The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for contributing to and performing tasks within the ITS Application Virtualization department supporting LifePoint’s virtualized application and desktop offerings including Operating Systems, Infrastructure, and middleware with proficiency which meets ITS/ Business expectations, and Customer Service Level Agreements. This position serves on project teams that require the department’s involvement, develops best practices, provides departmental education, and provides guidance to less experienced team members.

What we’re looking for
Applicants should have an Associate degree in Information Technology or related field, and/or equivalent experience with 5+ years of experience with virtualized application/desktop delivery, as well as application layering and user environment management. Additional requirements include:
Strong understanding of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Cloud, StoreFront, WEM, and Citrix ADC (NetScaler
Certifications: Citrix Certified Professional/Expert (CCP-V, CCE-V) and Omnissa Horizon or VMware Certified Professional (VCP-DTM) preferred
