About the Voice of Customer Team
With more than 5 million surveys received from clients each year across our Consumer, Business, and Service Provider divisions, our Customer Listening Team is responsible for managing the end-to-end Voice of the Customer (VOC) technique. This comprehensive approach includes the design and programming of customer experience surveys—comprising over 40 research studies—translated into more than 10 languages and deployed in over 20 countries worldwide.
We're seeking a talented Senior Statistics Architect to lead the transformation and innovation of our end-to-end Voice of the Customer platform. This is a unique opportunity to shape how arenaflex understands, analyzes, and acts upon customer feedback at scale.
What You'll Do
As a Senior Statistics Architect at arenaflex, you'll play a pivotal role in revolutionizing how we capture, process, and derive insights from customer feedback. You'll work closely with product and process owners, subject matter specialists from our survey platform vendor, and our agile technology teams to build robust data infrastructure that powers critical business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Platform Development & Maintenance: Support the development and maintenance of our new Voice of the Customer platform, sourced from our cornerstone data infrastructure and integrated with our survey and dashboard platform.
- Business Requirements Translation: Work closely with application teams to define, build, and capture comprehensive business needs, transforming them into technical solutions.
- Data Architecture Design: Design and build robust data model architectures to support optimal data processing and standardized metric definitions across the organization.
- Big Data Solutions: Enable big data and batch/real-time analytical solutions using transformational technologies including Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python to deliver innovative solutions ensuring data quality and accuracy through intensive testing.
- Performance Optimization: Provide guidance to enhance capabilities and drive efficiency in computing programs using our massive data ecosystem.
- Consumer Story Analysis: Lead consumer story analysis and elaboration, design and development of software programs, and build automation tools that streamline operations.
- Process Automation: Proactively identify and automate manual tasks to improve quality and operational efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with partners from across our global teams to prioritize, define, develop, and test data for various use cases as part of our VOC end-to-end methodology.
What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise: Hands-on development experience with Hive/Hadoop, Pyspark, Python, and Shell scripting languages, along with development, launch management, and troubleshooting expertise for data-driven projects spanning at least 3+ years.
- Collaborative Skills: Proven ability to work collaboratively with relationship managers and product owners to understand functional requirements and convert them into high-quality technical deliverables.
<- Agile Methodology: Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies, with experience introducing small increments of products at regular intervals to business stakeholders.
- Data Platform Knowledge: Deep understanding of Voice of the Customer methodologies and the ability to leverage this expertise to design and transform data within our cornerstone big data platform.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with real-time streaming data processing architectures
- Knowledge of machine learning integration with big data platforms
- Background in customer experience analytics or market research data
- Experience with survey platform integration (similar to Qualtrics)
- Understanding of multi-language, multi-country data operations
