We are seeking an experienced real estate professional to join our team as a real estate financial analyst or associate.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in creating and managing financial models for client projects and must possess high levels of integrity and an unwavering moral compass. This will be a client-facing position, so the ability to communicate effectively is a must.
As a real estate financial analyst / associate, you will be responsible for creating insightful and accurate financial models across a variety of asset types. You must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and have the ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team. You will participate in modeling, underwriting, and due diligence activities, including pro forma reviews and market research.
Responsibilities:
• Create financial models and conduct financial analysis for various real estate projects, including acquisitions, developments, and financings across a variety of asset types
• Analyze market trends while developing financial models & valuation scenarios
• Participate in underwriting and due diligence activities, including pro forma reviews, and market research
• Presenting to the internal Alkaline team and external client teams
• Develop new business opportunities (a nice to have, not a need to have)
• Availability & flexibility to hit project deadlines
Requirements:
• Microsoft Excel expert (3 years minimum)
• Minimum of 3 years experience in the real estate industry (focused on financial analysis and modeling)
• Extremely proficient in real estate financial modeling (emphasis on extremely proficient)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Proficiency using ARGUS & CoStar (nice to have, not a need to have)
• Ability to be an authentic version of yourself
