About This Role
The Senior Real Estate Data Analyst at arenaflex serves as a subject matter expert for internal and external customers, including Corporate Facilities, Airport Affairs, and Real Estate workgroups. This position is integral to our strategic thinking, requiring advanced knowledge of the built environment and performance metrics. You will be responsible for undertaking comprehensive analysis of airport and corporate campus areas, providing comments based on real estate data reporting that directly influences our operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead data analysis initiatives, including comprehensive reports and implementation of tactics to improve the productivity and accuracy of real estate reporting across all departmental levels
- Support the development of new processes, equipment, and reviews to enhance the performance of Real Estate, Airport Affairs, and Corporate Facilities teams
- Conduct in-depth analysis to drive cost improvements based on airport lease allocations and station staffing requirements, identifying opportunities for operational efficiency
- Collect and manage raw data to create easily understandable, presentable, and actionable findings suitable for presentation to all levels of leadership, including executive stakeholders
- Drive solutions and provide recommendations regarding the Real Estate analytical toolset, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and best practices
- Maintain and enhance the Real Estate analytical toolset, including defining content control systems, workflows, and templates while identifying on-site access permissions and security protocols
- Assist leadership with data gathering, analysis, and reporting related to department-driven metrics and key performance indicators
- Utilize analytics data preparation and data visualization tools to acquire and understand large, complex datasets surrounding company industrial and operational performance
- Work in a collaborative spirit, mentoring teammates and partnering with other company data teams to achieve shared objectives
- Anticipate problems and communicate solutions in a timely manner, demonstrating proactive problem-solving skills
- Provide training to internal customers on reporting tools, methodologies, and best practices for data interpretation
- Perform other job responsibilities as directed by leadership, maintaining flexibility in a dynamic work environment
Essential Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, financial monitoring, resource modeling, and maintenance practices
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including robust Excel experience with pivot tables, lookup functions, data analysis tools, and complex formulas
- Proficiency in MS Access, including database queries and data management functions
- Strong skills in collecting, organizing, visualizing, and assimilating data, including the ability to turn raw data into meaningful insights using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software
- Ability to enhance existing data solutions while balancing assigned work and ad-hoc requests from multiple stakeholders
- Strong logical reasoning skills to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or processes when addressing complex problems
- Ability to analyze design techniques, tools, and standards involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
- Capability to apply various methodologies and high-level statistical concepts to discover new insights or reframe conventional metrics
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and visual) with the ability to present effectively to all levels of the company, including Senior Leadership
- Experience with data collection using SQL and data transformation tools such as Alteryx
- Ability to identify and analyze trends in large datasets, translating findings into strategic recommendations
- Adaptability to rapidly changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to initiate projects, perform responsibilities independently, respond to inquiries, and develop innovative approaches to problem-solving without constant direction or supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with data analysis, reporting, and data modeling in a corporate or consulting environment
- Knowledge of Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, and/or Python for advanced data manipulation and visualization
- Familiarity with the aviation industry or real estate sector is a plus
- Experience with enterprise resource planning systems and facility management platforms
Education Requirements
Required: High School Diploma or GED
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Real Estate, or related field
Experience Requirements
Advanced degree experience, professional, and specialized understanding in:
- Analyst or equivalent function with demonstrated analytical capabilities
- Data collection and analysis methodologies
- Designing and producing report dashboards and visualization tools
- Cross-functional collaboration with multiple business units
