A leading national insurance provider is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Insurance Claims Adjuster to join their fully remote team. This role is integral to assessing and processing complex insurance claims, ensuring fair and timely resolution for policyholders across various lines of business. The Senior Claims Adjuster will manage a caseload of significant complexity, conduct thorough investigations, determine liability, and negotiate settlements in accordance with company policies and industry best practices. Responsibilities include interviewing claimants and witnesses, inspecting damaged property, and coordinating with experts such as engineers or legal counsel when necessary. You will be responsible for evaluating policy coverage, documenting all findings and actions meticulously, and making informed decisions on claim payouts. This position requires a deep understanding of insurance contracts, claims regulations, and settlement practices. Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining clear, consistent communication with all parties involved is paramount. Candidates must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience as a claims adjuster, with demonstrated expertise in handling complex claims (e.g., commercial property, casualty, or specialty lines). A strong understanding of relevant state and federal insurance laws and regulations is required. Excellent investigative, analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills are essential. Holding relevant adjuster licenses is mandatory.
