Our client, a leading global e-learning platform, is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Instructional Designer to join their fully remote team. This role is crucial in developing engaging, effective, and innovative digital learning experiences for a diverse range of learners and subjects. You will be responsible for the end-to-end design and development process, from needs analysis and learning objectives definition to content creation, assessment design, and implementation within our learning management system (LMS). This position offers the flexibility of a remote-first work environment, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough learning needs analyses and performance gap analyses to identify appropriate learning solutions. Design and develop comprehensive instructional materials for various learning modalities, including e-learning courses, instructor-led training (virtual and in-person), job aids, and performance support tools. Apply adult learning principles and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to create engaging and effective learning content. Write clear, concise, and measurable learning objectives. Develop assessment strategies and create assessments to measure learning effectiveness and impact. Utilize authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and multimedia software to produce high-quality digital learning content. Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather content, validate accuracy, and ensure instructional relevance. Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Facilitate pilot testing of learning solutions and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement. Stay current with emerging trends and best practices in instructional design, e-learning, and educational technology. Contribute to the development and refinement of the organization's instructional design standards and processes. Effectively communicate project status, challenges, and successes to stakeholders across the organization. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, E-learning, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional design and e-learning development. Proven experience designing and developing engaging online learning courses using industry-standard authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline 360, Adobe Captivate). Strong understanding of adult learning theories, instructional design methodologies, and learning technologies. Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and SCORM compliance. Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate in a virtual team environment. Proficiency in multimedia development (e.g., video editing, graphic design) is a plus. Portfolio demonstrating a range of instructional design projects and successes.
