General Summary
This position is responsible for providing planning and analytical expertise while supporting data driven decision making throughout the Global Planning and Inventory team. The Global Planning Analyst will support the S&OP and demand planning process along with creating visibility to inventory throughout the network through reporting and analytics. This position will partner closely with the global service organization leadership and regional planning leads. In addition, this position with prepare weekly and monthly reports for the ELT and Global Planning leadership.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage the global service parts business through the Sales and Operations Planning process.
Drive accurate forecasting through a statistical methodology and demand consensus review with subsidiaries on products, parts, and consumable
Execute global service parts inventory targets through a consistent safety stock management strategy, forecast accuracy improvements and global inventory rebalancing.
Serve as a liaison to regional planning teams for supply and demand plan inquiries.
Provide input to the organization on planning and inventory strategies for service parts existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
Facilitate inventory allocation decisions for regional backorders as supply becomes available.
Partner with the procurement team to communicate supply availability updates, develop and update supplier metric and performance reports.
Maintains global process integrity, templates, tools, and training to maximize effectiveness of Demand Planning process in partnership with Global Planning Leadership.
Identify and lead improvement projects from charter to execution as necessary.
Responsible for the development and updating of weekly & monthly KPIs while standardizing approach, process, and tools.
Collaboratively work across functions and levels in the organization.
Knowledge/Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business or related disciplines
5 + years supply chain/operations experience
Demand planning experience preferred
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (MS Access a plus)
Result oriented with strong problem solving and organizational skills
Excellent communications skills in English, both verbal and written
Strong team player working collaboratively across functions
Experience with Enterprise ERP systems (Oracle Cloud Preferred)
Salary Range: $100-110k based on candidate experience
