About the Role: Senior Data Architect – Voice of Customer
We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Data Architect to lead the transformation and innovation of our end-to-end Voice of the Customer (VoC) methodology. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of data engineering, customer experience, and cutting-edge technology. You'll be instrumental in building robust data architectures that power real-time insights, enabling decision-makers across the organization to deliver world-class customer experiences.
In this role, you will work closely with product and process owners, subject matter experts from our survey vendor (Qualtrics), and agile technology teams to design, develop, and maintain a state-of-the-art Voice of Customer system. Your expertise will help us process over 5 million customer surveys annually, translating raw feedback into actionable intelligence that drives business growth.
What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Data Architect at arenaflex, your days will be filled with meaningful challenges and opportunities to innovate. Here's what you can expect:
- Architectural Excellence: Design and build robust data model architectures that support optimal data processing and standardized metric definitions across the organization.
- Technology Integration: Assist in the development and maintenance of the new Voice of Customer technique sourced from Cornerstone and integrated with the Qualtrics survey and dashboard platform.
- Business Alignment: Work closely with application teams to define, frame, and capture business requirements, translating complex needs into elegant technical solutions.
- Big Data Innovation: Enable big data and batch/real-time analytical solutions leveraging transformational technologies including Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python to deliver innovative solutions ensuring data quality and accuracy through intensive testing.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with colleagues from various business units to prioritize, define, develop, and test data for various use cases as part of the VoC end-to-end process.
- Consumer Story Analysis: Power consumer story analysis and elaboration, design and development of software programs, and build automation tools that streamline operations.
- Process Optimization: Proactively identify and automate manual tasks to improve quality and efficiency across all data operations.
- Performance Enhancement: Offer guidance to enhance competencies and drive efficiency in computing programs using the massive data ecosystem.
What We're Looking For: Qualifications & Skills
Essential Requirements:
- Technical Expertise: Hands-on development experience with Hive/Hadoop, PySpark, Python, and Shell scripting languages with a minimum of 3+ years in data-driven projects.
- Agile Mindset: Familiarity with Agile methodologies of delivery where small increments of a product are introduced at regular intervals to business groups.
- Collaborative Spirit: Experience actively collaborating with relationship managers and product owners to understand functional requirements and convert them into technical deliverables.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues and ensure data quality at variable and use-case levels.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Qualtrics or similar survey platforms
- Knowledge of Voice of Customer methodologies and frameworks
- Familiarity with Cornerstone data platforms
- Experience in the financial services industry
- Understanding of real-time and batch processing architectures
- Experience with cloud platforms and data warehousing solutions
