Summary: Primary duties, answering phones in a professional and courteous manner without giving medical advice, scheduling appointments. Must be bi-lingual English and Spanish
TASK:
• ANSWER TELEPHONE CALLS
• RETURN ALL VOICEMAIL AND EMAIL MESSAGES IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER USING PROPER PHONE AND EMAIL ETIQUETTE
• TAKE AND RELAY MESSAGES
• Ability to understand and keep to instructions, whether oral or written
• Assist in other areas when needed
• FAX OR EMAIL RECORDS
• PROVIDE INFORMATION TO CALLERS
• TRANSFER CALLERS TO CORRECT DESTINATION
• DEAL WITH QUERIES FROM THE CUSTOMERS
• SCHEDULE APPROPRIATE APPOINTMENTS FOR EXAMS, SURGERIES, MEDICAL PROCEDURES
• EFFECTIVELY MANAGE SCHEDULE AND DAILY APPOINTMENTS
• THOROUGHLY ENTER CLIENT AND PATIENT INFORMATION INTO COMPUTER SYSTEM
• MAINTAIN APPOINTMENT DIARY EITHER MANUALLY OR ELECTRONICALLY
• MONITOR AND MAINTAIN OFFICE EQUIPMENT
• TIDY AND MAINTAIN THE SCHEDULING AREA
• UPDATE DATABASES
• PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA, SOME COLLEGE PREFERRED
• KNOWLEDGE OF COMPUTERS AND RELEVANT SOFTWARE APPLICATION
• KNOWLEDGE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICES
• KEYBOARD SKILLS
• SOME CALL CENTER EXPERIENCE DESIRED

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
• MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 40 + HOURS A WEEK MONDAY THRU FRIDAY AND SATURDAYS AS SCHEDULED 8AM TO 5PM

• BI-LINGUAL – FLUENT IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH
