Job Summary: Returnship Program

As a Salesforce Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our donor, volunteer, and partner relationship management systems. Your meticulous attention to detail and research capabilities will directly impact our ability to connect generous donors and passionate volunteers with vetted organizations that are making a real difference in communities worldwide. This is a part-time, fully remote position that offers flexibility while allowing you to contribute to a global movement for good.
Key Responsibilities
As a valued member of our global team, you will be responsible for the following essential functions:
- Salesforce CRM Data Entry: Accurately input, update, and maintain donor information, volunteer profiles, partner organization details, and transaction records within our Salesforce.com CRM platform. Ensure data integrity and consistency across all records.
- Data Categorization and Labeling: Implement proper pulldown labeling and categorization of data within Salesforce to enable effective tracking, reporting, and analysis of our global giving and volunteering programs.
- Contact Research: Utilize our designated research tools, including Spokeo and Snov.io, to identify and verify contact information for prospective clients, partners, and organizational stakeholders.
- Biographical Research and Data Entry: Conduct thorough research on our clients' and partners' backgrounds, organizational histories, mission statements, and impact stories. Accurately enter this information into Salesforce to enrich our relationship management capabilities.
- Data Quality Assurance: Perform regular data audits to identify and correct duplicates, inconsistencies, or outdated information. Maintain high standards of data accuracy and completeness.
- Special Projects: With proven success and a positive, proactive attitude, take on additional special projects as needed to support team objectives and organizational growth. Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to learn new skills.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including fundraising, volunteer coordination, and partner relations, to ensure seamless data flow and operational efficiency.
Essential Qualifications
We are seeking candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent professional training and experience. We welcome applications from career returners with strong intellectual curiosity and commitment to continuous learning.
- Salesforce Experience: Demonstrated experience with Salesforce.com CRM platform, including data entry, custom object management, and reporting. Familiarity with Salesforce data validation rules and best practices is highly desirable.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to data accuracy, with the ability to identify inconsistencies and ensure precision in all entries. A track record of maintaining high-quality records is essential.
- Research Skills: Proficiency in conducting online research using various tools and platforms. Ability to find, verify, and synthesize information from multiple sources.
- Communication Skills: Strong written communication skills with the ability to clearly document findings and enter information accurately into CRM systems.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively while meeting deadlines in a remote work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would strengthen your application:
- Prior experience in the nonprofit sector, particularly in donor relations or volunteer management.
- Familiarity with other CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Blackbaud, or Bloomerang.
- Experience working with remote teams across different time zones.
