Sales Representative – Meeting Planner / Event Professional (Remote)

Job description: Location: Work From Home (Remote) Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Compensation: From $40,000/year + uncapped commissions and performance bonuses About Us: At TRSAV, we provide high-level audiovisual support for conferences, conventions, corporate meetings, and trade shows—both nationally and internationally. We are based in Orlando and are known for delivering exceptional AV equipment and services with honest, transparent pricing. Our client base includes pharmaceutical companies, associations, and Fortune 500 corporations, and we take pride in being a trusted name in the industry. Who We’re Looking For: We’re seeking a professional, driven, and self-sufficient individual to join our sales team. The ideal candidate is someone who either: • Has prior experience in meeting planning, event management, or convention coordination (corporate or association-based), OR • Has sales experience within the AV, hotel, or conference services industry This role is phone-heavy and requires someone who is confident making outbound calls, building client relationships, and helping meeting planners understand how we can support their events. If you’ve ever been the one planning the meeting or managing a booth, you’ll understand our clients—and that’s what we need. What You’ll Do: • Call and email prospective clients (cold and warm leads) • Discuss our AV capabilities and how we support meetings & events • Build rapport with decision-makers in pharma, associations, and corporate meetings • Use and update our CRM (contact management system) with detailed notes and follow-ups • Track and manage client communications, quotes, and proposals • Assist in organizing and following up on equipment rental orders Must-Haves: • Prior experience as a meeting planner, convention services manager, or AV sales rep (preferred) • Professional demeanor with strong verbal and written communication skills • Able to work independently and stay self-motivated throughout the day • Confident on the phone and capable of connecting with people quickly • Proficiency with email and CRM systems (we’ll train on the specifics) • You don’t need to be babysat—we’re looking for grown-ups who take initiative Nice-to-Haves: • Familiarity with AV rentals, trade shows, hotel/convention services • Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or other CRM platforms What We Offer: • Competitive base salary + uncapped commissions • Monthly and quarterly performance bonuses • Fully remote position with flexibility and independence • All training provided — especially if you have the right background but not sales experience • Opportunity to grow into a key account or leadership role as we expand Ready to make an impact with a company that values hustle, heart, and professionalism?
