Our client is actively seeking a dedicated and analytical Remote Procurement Specialist to join their fully remote team. This role is integral to managing and optimizing the company's sourcing and procurement processes across all departments. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a meticulous approach to vendor management, contract negotiation, and cost-saving strategies. You will work independently from your home office, collaborating virtually with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure the acquisition of goods and services aligns with company standards and budget. Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including requisition, sourcing, negotiation, purchase order creation, and delivery tracking. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and service. Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and new product availability. Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and ensure best value. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies promptly. Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements. Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, savings achieved, and market conditions. Assist in the development and implementation of procurement best practices and strategies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management. Demonstrated experience in vendor negotiation and contract management. Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa). Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment. Familiarity with sourcing strategies and best practices. Proven ability to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
