[Remote] IT Business Analyst - Quality Assurance

The IT Business Analyst - Quality Assurance role involves formulating and defining system scope, performing QA activities, and acting as a bridge between business needs and technical capabilities. Responsibilities • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs • Performs requirements analysis • Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions • Documents requirements, evaluates scenarios, and executes changes needed to respond to requirements • Conducts meetings and presentations to share and review ideas and findings • Creates and updates system documentation • Drives testing • Responsible for performing any aspect of Quality Assurance including Software Quality Assurance, QA program Implementation, Testing, Verification, and Validation • Identifies test scenarios, test scripts, and defines Acceptance Criteria for use in test cycles • Write appropriate test scenarios, test scripts, and analyze test results • Summarizes and communicates testing outcomes in meaningful ways • Accurately report defects found during testing • Report, track, and determine priority of reported bugs • Acts as liaison among clients, operations, and technical staff • Communicate and collaborate with other testers, team members and other technical teams • Develop and maintain test plans, manual and automated test scripts (as required) for functional, interface and user acceptance testing • Execute regression tests, functional tests, and data tests • Facilitate and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) • Perform various types of testing including functional, system integration, regression and User Acceptance • Assist with testing and support activities related to the implementation • Provide feedback on usability Skills • Must reside near one of the specified office locations: Boise, ID; Centennial, CO; Lincoln, NE; Sidney, NE; Madison, WI • Must complete United States Government security clearance • Must be a United States citizen • Experience in reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs • Experience in performing requirements analysis • Ability to ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements • Experience in evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions • Experience in documenting requirements, evaluating scenarios, and executing changes needed to respond to requirements • Experience in conducting meetings and presentations to share and review ideas and findings • Experience in creating and updating system documentation • Experience in driving testing • Experience in performing any aspect of Quality Assurance including Software Quality Assurance, QA program Implementation, Testing, Verification, and Validation • Ability to identify test scenarios, test scripts, and define Acceptance Criteria for use in test cycles • Experience in writing appropriate test scenarios, test scripts, and analyzing test results • Ability to summarize and communicate testing outcomes in meaningful ways • Experience in accurately reporting defects found during testing • Experience in reporting, tracking, and determining priority of reported bugs • Ability to act as liaison among clients, operations, and technical staff • Ability to communicate and collaborate with other testers, team members, and other technical teams • Experience in developing and maintaining test plans, manual and automated test scripts (as required) for functional, interface, and user acceptance testing • Experience in executing regression tests, functional tests, and data tests • Experience in facilitating and leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) • Experience in performing various types of testing including functional, system integration, regression, and User Acceptance • Experience in assisting with testing and support activities related to the implementation • Ability to provide feedback on usability Benefits • Medical • Dental • Vision • HSA and FSA • Generous earned time off • 401K/student loan repayment • Life insurance & AD&D insurance • Employee assistance program • Employee stock purchase program • Tuition reimbursement • Performance-based incentive pay • Short- and long-term disability • Robust wellness program C
