Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Pest Share is a fast-growing, fully remote B2B SaaS company focused on on-demand pest control solutions. They are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to support their Technology Operations team by automating deployment processes and maintaining systems that power their platform.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the software release process, ensuring releases are planned, communicated, and executed smoothly across engineering
- Automate and enhance our CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment reliability, speed, and developer experience
- Monitor releases and deployments, identifying and resolving issues that arise during the release process
- Review and triage bugs raised by QA, working with engineering teams to ensure issues are prioritized and resolved in a timely manner
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of our cloud infrastructure, primarily in AWS
- Support infrastructure management using Terraform, helping maintain and update infrastructure as code
- Document release processes, deployment procedures, and infrastructure workflows to improve team knowledge and reliability
- Continuously look for opportunities to reduce manual work, improve automation, and strengthen release reliability
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- 1-3 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, or release engineering roles. This may include internships, co-op placements, or professional experience
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, QA, and product teams
- Basic experience working with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform
- Experience using Git and modern software development workflows
- You celebrate a clean, uneventful release more than most people celebrate big launches
- You believe manual deployment steps are just automation waiting to happen
- You notice when something in a pipeline or deployment 'feels off' and dig until you find the root cause
- You enjoy improving systems so that future engineers never have to deal with the same problem twice
