Russell Tobin is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Scientist to support the design, development, and optimization of data infrastructure and advanced analytics solutions. The role involves building scalable data systems, managing full-stack data processes, and driving automation initiatives to improve organizational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize data warehouse solutions
- Develop and maintain ETL pipelines and automated data workflows
- Create and support an analytics 'as-a-service' environment
- Manage full-stack data processes, including:
- Data collection and aggregation
- Data analysis and visualization
- Data enrichment
- Model development and productionization
- Build and maintain infrastructure for:
- Data labeling
- Feature engineering
- Model training and evaluation
- Deployment of online and offline machine learning models
- Drive automation initiatives to improve scalability, efficiency, and flexibility across the organization
- Develop and operate tools and systems supporting data integration and analytics workflows
Skills
- 2+ years of experience working with Databricks, Data Lake/Delta Lake, Oracle, AWS Redshift, or similar relational databases
- 1+ year of hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or equivalent cloud platforms, including data integration within ecosystems such as: AWS Glue, Kafka, Elasticsearch, AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, Redshift, RDS, Kubernetes, BigQuery
- 2+ years of experience developing Python-based data pipelines and integration solutions
- Strong experience with source control systems such as Git
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
- Hands-on experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Self-driven and execution-focused, with the ability to manage multiple data integration demands in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership and deliver results with minimal supervision
