About the Role
As a Remote Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be the frontline of our customer support operations, handling a variety of tasks that keep our streaming platform running smoothly. This position combines meticulous data management with direct customer interaction, making it ideal for those who excel at both administrative precision and interpersonal communication. You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate customer records, processing subscription changes, resolving technical issues, and ensuring that every subscriber receives the exceptional service they deserve.
The nature of this role requires someone who can seamlessly switch between detailed data entry tasks and dynamic customer support conversations. You'll be managing customer accounts, updating billing information, troubleshooting common streaming issues, and documenting interactions in our customer relationship management system. Key Responsibilities
- Customer Account Management: Process new subscriptions, handle plan upgrades and downgrades, manage billing inquiries, and maintain accurate customer records in our database systems. Ensure all data entry is completed with precision and in accordance with company protocols.
- Call Support Excellence: Answer incoming customer calls with enthusiasm and professionalism. Listen actively to understand customer concerns, provide accurate information about our services, and guide subscribers through troubleshooting steps for common technical issues.
- Customer Issue Resolution: Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat. Diagnose streaming problems, account access issues, payment concerns, and content availability questions. Work diligently to resolve issues during the first contact whenever possible.
- Data Accuracy & Integrity: Enter, verify, and maintain customer data with exceptional accuracy. Review information for completeness and correctness, identify and correct errors, and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Product Knowledge Mastery: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of arenaflex streaming services, including content library, subscription plans, compatible devices, and technical requirements. Stay updated on new features, content releases, and service enhancements.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed logs of customer interactions, issues resolved, and follow-up actions required. Contribute to knowledge base articles that help teammates handle similar inquiries efficiently.
- Quality Assurance Adherence: Meet or exceed performance metrics related to call handling time, customer satisfaction scores, first-call resolution rates, and data entry accuracy. Participate in quality monitoring and coaching sessions to continuously improve performance.
- Technology Utilization: Master various customer support tools, including phone systems, CRM software, ticketing platforms, and internal knowledge bases. Leverage technology to maximize productivity and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or relevant certifications in customer service, business administration, or related fields preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of previous customer service experience, preferably in a call center, help desk, or retail environment. Data entry experience is a strong plus but not required.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills with a clear, professional phone manner. Strong written communication abilities for email correspondence and documentation.
- Technical Aptitude: Comfortable learning new software applications and troubleshooting common technical issues. Basic understanding of streaming technology, Wi-Fi networks, and smart devices.
- Typing Proficiency: Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM with high accuracy. Experience with data entry in CRM systems or similar databases.
- Home Office Setup: Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps), quiet workspace free from background noise, and a computer meeting arenaflex technical specifications.
- Availability: Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Shifts may vary based on business needs.
Preferred Skills & Attributes
- Previous experience in the streaming, entertainment, or media industry
- Familiarity with subscription-based business models and recurring billing
- Multilingual capabilities, especially in Spanish, Mandarin, or other widely spoken languages
- Knowledge of Zendesk, Freshdesk, or similar customer support platforms
