What You'll Do
As a Remote Data Entry & Business Intelligence Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in maintaining and updating essential data to ensure seamless operations across various departments. Your work will directly support enterprise risk management (ERM) initiatives, compliance requirements, and strategic decision-making processes throughout our organization.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Data Collection & Processing: Gather and process information from disparate information systems across our U.S. and global businesses. You'll work with multiple data sources to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness in all data management activities.
- Dashboard Development: Design and develop intuitive dashboards that help stakeholders scope risks and evaluate the maturity of associated controls. Your visualizations will transform complex data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making.
- Custom Reporting: Construct custom reports as needed to support various business units and leadership teams. You'll ensure that stakeholders have access to the information they need when they need it.
- Risk Analysis & Assessment: Apply your expertise in analytics strategies and tools to develop defensible and consistent methodologies for assessing risk. You'll draw insights and correlations from data and communicate findings effectively to compliance professionals, attorneys, and business leaders.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present complex analytical findings in clear, compelling narratives that "tell a story" with data. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure insights are understood and acted upon.
- Emerging Risk Identification: Provide input on new and emerging risk areas using data-driven analysis. You'll stay ahead of industry trends and identify potential challenges before they become issues.
- Process Improvement: Solicit feedback and assist in the continuous improvement of our ERM and risk assessment processes. You'll be encouraged to innovate and suggest enhancements to our existing methodologies.
- Data Entry & Maintenance: Perform accurate and efficient data entry tasks to maintain our comprehensive risk databases and information systems.

Essential Qualifications:
- Advanced SQL Expertise: Deep knowledge of SQL and the ability to write complex queries, stored procedures, and optimize database performance.
- Visualization Tools Proficiency: Strong skills in tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Tableau Prep. You should be adept at creating impactful visualizations that communicate complex data effectively.
- Programming Abilities: The ability to code using R or Python for data analysis and automation purposes.
