[Remote] Azure Assessment Consultant - Full Time - Remote in USA

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Inviso is a premier consulting firm that supports customer cloud journeys, particularly in Microsoft Cloud adoption. The Azure Assessment Consultant role involves engaging with customers to analyze their IT infrastructures and assist in cloud adoption strategies, requiring strong technical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Microsoft end-customers to guide and support use of server infrastructure and application analysis tooling
• Empower customers to better understand & manage their current infrastructures
• Unlock their ability to optimize the current estate
• Provide a common foundation of data to enable Microsoft and Customer to collaborate in strategic cloud adoption planning
• Demonstrate strong technical acumen, project management skills, and effective communication across multiple levels of a customer organization
• Manage a queue of projects concurrently – project & time management, coordination, status updates

Skills

• Must be physically located in USA and eligible to work without company sponsorship
• 1-2 years as a professional in an IT service/support role, with a desire to leverage those skills in an analytic capacity
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Cloud services and administration
• Networking and Administration for Windows / Windows Server OS and Linux; PowerShell; Active Directory, DNS, DHCP; Virtualization Technologies (ex., VMware & Hyper-V)
• Demonstrated ability to manage a queue of projects concurrently – project & time management, coordination, status updates, etc
• Applicants must be eligible to onboard as a Microsoft vendor (v-dash) in a Managed Service (without 6-month break)
• Strong technical acumen
• Project management skills
• Ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels of a customer organization (from IT staff to project managers to business decision makers) as well as Microsoft's internal teams
• Diversity of IT systems & admin knowledge enabling them to guide customers in the implementation of solutions such as Dr Migrate
• Prior experience with Azure Migrate, Doctor Migrate, or with other administrative and assessment tools such as ServiceNow, SolarWinds, Cloudamize, Movere, Block64, etc. will be a strong differentiator
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
• Other Non-Microsoft Technologies: Oracle database, RHEL (or other Linux) administration
• Comfort interpreting and presenting data insights to leadership teams
• Fluency in French or Spanish (but not required)
