About the role

An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled registered nurse to join our Aged Care team. selectability, a reputable aged care provider that provides supports in the Lower Gulf of North Queensland is expanding our aged care services to the community of Aurukun, located in the Cape York Peninsula. 

As the registered nurse, you will play a vital role in the lives of the older persons by providing quality, responsive and compassionate care.  Working closely with the Regional Manager Aurukun, aged care workers and support staff, to provide person-centred quality care to support the older persons and their care needs.

If you are an experienced and compassionate registered nurse looking for a new challenge, then working FIFO could be the perfect opportunity for you. We offer a 6 weeks onsite, 2 weeks offsite roster, with known leave dates, so you can plan your life around work. We’re committed to fatigue management, which means you’ll always have enough time to rest and recharge. We offer above award rates, so you’ll be well- compensated for your hard work. We also provide travel, accommodation, and meals so you don’t have to worry about any of the logistics. Working in regional and remote First Nations communities provides a unique cultural experience and you’ll be part of a team committed to providing the best possible care.

About the offer

This is a remote position in the Cape York Peninsula on a 6 week on 2 week off roster.

This role provides significant overtime opportunities; on average our registered nurses annual remuneration is around $190k plus super.
