Giant Tiger is a Canadian institution focused on helping Canadians save more every day. They are seeking a Production Coordinator to ensure globally sourced products meet design, quality, and brand packaging standards while achieving on-time delivery.
Responsibilities
- Provide sourcing and production related information to key stakeholders - internal/external
- Execute product development process and collaborate with Manger/Buyers to ensure that all items meet our standards
- Deliver product development on time, adhering to the critical path and key milestones
- Execute artwork/packaging with internal/external stakeholders for all globally sourced private label products
Skills
- Equivalent of a post-secondary degree/diploma in related field
- 1 - 2 years + work experience, preferably in sourcing, product development, project management within Home Products, Softgoods or Grocery retail
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Familiar working in PLM environment
- Well developed organizational skills with the ability to set priorities, multi-task and perform under deadline pressures
- Well developed problem solving skills
- High level of self-management and ability to collaborate
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Bilingual English and French
- Experience in retail environments
