People and Culture Specialist

Modern Family Law, a rapidly expanding national family law firm, is seeking an experienced People & Culture Specialist to join our People & Culture Team, with a focus on employee relations, leave of absence, and compliance.  

As a member of the People & Culture team, this role is responsible for independently managing day-to-day employee relations matters, coordinating leave and accommodation processes, supporting compliance efforts across multiple jurisdictions and maintaining clear and consistent documentation and processes. This role partners closely with employees, managers, and People & Culture Leadership to support fair, consistent, and compliant practices across the Firm. While this position is expected to work independently in handling routine matters, any interpretation of Firm policy, policy exception, or matter involving elevated legal or employee relations risk must be reviewed with People & Culture Leadership before guidance or decisions are communicated.

Compensation and Benefits: Salary Range for California: $95,000-$105,000. This range is a reasonably reliable estimate of the base salary that this role is expected to receive. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. 

Comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, HSA/FSA options, short-term and long-term disability, dental and vision care, life insurance, 401(k), vacation, sick time, and access to an employee assistance program. Additional voluntary benefits include accident insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, critical illness insurance, long-term care insurance, and pet insurance. Commuter and transit benefits may be available in some locations.
