What You'll Do
As an integral member of our Semi Truck data team, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into strategic assets that inform product development, customer experience, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:
- Create compelling, succinct, and clear reports and visualizations that effectively communicate insights to stakeholders, leadership, and Semi Truck clients, translating complex data into actionable recommendations that drive business decisions.
- Support engineering requests to extract and analyze data from vehicles to contribute to fashion analysis, component trials, and service opportunities, working closely with our world-class engineering teams to identify patterns and improvements.
- Create automated reports on fleet performance and health that provide real-time visibility into vehicle metrics, maintenance needs, and efficiency indicators, enabling proactive decision-making across the organization.
- Coordinate with data engineering teams to establish data pipelines and confirm data integrity by implementing robust quality assurance processes and ensuring consistent, reliable data flow throughout our systems.
- Write clean, well-documented, and tested code that can be maintained and extended upon by other analysts, following best practices in software development and data engineering.
- Provide data to business development teams and collaborate on client-facing materials including presentations, proposals, and technical documentation that showcase our fleet capabilities and value propositions.
- Review time-series data from vehicle logs to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization in fleet performance and component reliability.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on large, dense datasets to uncover hidden patterns, correlations, and insights that can inform product strategy and customer experience improvements.
- Develop and maintain dashboards that visualize key performance indicators and metrics for various internal stakeholders, from operations to executive leadership.
