Position Overview

- Baggage Services: Check in passenger baggage, tag luggage properly, and manage baggage claim operations. Assist customers with lost, delayed, or damaged baggage claims, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and according to company policies.
- Payment Processing: Handle various forms of payment including cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons. Calculate fares, make change, and balance daily transactions accurately. Maintain accountability for cash handling procedures.
- Flight Information: Provide current and accurate information regarding flight schedules, departure and arrival times, gate changes, delays, and cancellations. Answer general inquiries and assist passengers with navigation through the airport.
- Boarding Procedures: Manage boarding processes efficiently, verify passenger identification, assign seats, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Work under tight time constraints to accomplish quick aircraft turns.
- Issue Resolution: Address customer complaints and concerns professionally, including those related to oversales, flight delays, cancellations, and service disruptions. Resolve issues quickly while maintaining composure and adhering to company guidelines.
- Communication: Communicate effectively via telephone, in-person conversations, and public address systems. Use radio equipment to coordinate with team members and relay critical information.
- Documentation: Complete required forms, reports, and documentation accurately. Write anomaly and complaint reports as needed, ensuring proper record-keeping for continuous improvement.
