Purpose of Position:
The NSHC Call-Line Service Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will demonstrate excellent communication skills and assessment of patients. The APP will provide telemedicine services and advice/care ranging from non-urgent to life threatening, including but not limited to, medical illness, trauma care, pediatric care, gerontological care, injury prevention, women’s health, mental health issues and life- and limb-saving measures. Expectations to include appropriate triage of patients, telemedicine services when appropriate and follow up as needed and maintaining data on the Call-Line Service program.
