Position Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Member Services Representative to provide telephone assistance to our valued Aetna Medicaid members and health care providers. This role is based in the Charleston, WV area, with a hybrid work model that offers flexibility while ensuring we can maintain the highest level of service quality.

As part of the arenaflex team, you will play a critical role in handling inbound inquiries related to eligibility verification, provider network changes, identification card requests, and a wide range of benefit-related questions. Your ability to deliver compassionate, accurate, and timely responses will directly impact member satisfaction and help us fulfill our mission of making health care more personal, convenient, and affordable.

Location Requirement: Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Charleston, WV to be considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities

As a Member Services Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional telephone support to our members and providers. Your daily responsibilities will include:

Technical Requirements: This position requires high-speed internet connectivity with secure service via ethernet cable. Wi-Fi connections are not permitted due to security and reliability requirements. arenaflex will provide all necessary equipment, including a dedicated workstation, headset, and access to our proprietary systems.

Please note that during the initial training period, attendance is mandatory to ensure you have the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in this role. After completing training, you will transition to your production schedule with the flexibility to work from home, though you must commute to the Charleston, WV office when unable to work remotely due to prolonged technical issues.

Required Qualifications

  • Residency: Must live within 50 miles of Charleston, WV
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex health care information in clear, simple terms
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and learn new software applications quickly
  • Home Office Setup: Must be able to work from home independently and prove to be self-sufficient in managing your work environment
  • Performance Standards: Ability to meet established performance standards, including call quality metrics, attendance requirements, and productivity goals
  • Commute Capability: Must be able to commute to the Charleston, WV office when technical issues prevent remote work
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications
