Position Summary
We're looking for a dedicated and passionate Member Benefits Advisor to join our growing team at arenaflex. In this crucial role, you'll be the frontline ambassador of our brand, providing exceptional service to policyholders, group members, and customers across the country. Your primary responsibility is to deliver outstanding customer support while educating members on the value of their insurance and non-insurance products. This position is integral to our customer satisfaction and retention strategy, positioning you as a key contributor to our ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities
As a Member Benefits Advisor at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in delivering excellence across every customer interaction. Here's what you can expect:
- Customer Call Management: Answer incoming customer service calls from policyholders, group members, and other customers in a courteous, professional, and prompt manner. You'll adhere to our quality program metrics to ensure every customer experiences exceptional service.
- Information Management: Update and maintain customer billing and eligibility information in all required and appropriate areas of our administrative systems with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Request Processing: Process and fulfill customer requests in strict adherence to approved and prescribed policies and procedures, ensuring compliance while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain current knowledge of policies, procedures, and product changes, including active offers available to members. Continuous learning is essential for success in this role.
- Team Collaboration: Share successes, customer feedback, and innovative ideas with team members to promote continuous improvement and an excellent customer experience across the organization.
- Soft Sales: Identify opportunities to educate customers on the value of their existing coverage and recommend additional beneficial products when appropriate.
- Special Projects: Perform miscellaneous functions and special projects as assigned, contributing to team goals and organizational excellence.
Essential Qualifications
To thrive in this role at arenaflex, you'll need:
Education & Certification
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Required Experience
- Minimum two years of customer service experience, preferably in a high-volume customer call center environment
- Candidates with claims experience may be eligible for a Level II position with successful completion of training (as applicable)
Required Knowledge
- Solid understanding of customer service principles and practices
- Familiarity with insurance industry concepts is a plus but not required – we'll train you!

Work Schedule & Location
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, with hours arranged with your supervisor
- Training Period: First 60 days will be in-office for comprehensive training
- Remote Work: Once training is successfully completed, you will work fully remote
- Travel: No domestic travel required
