What You'll Do

As our Marketing & Design Intern, you'll be the creative force behind our digital presence. You'll design graphics, develop social media strategy and content, refresh our website, and help us tell our story in compelling, beautiful ways. This is real creative work that will be seen by thousands of people in the social impact community.

We're looking for someone who's creative, detail-oriented, and excited about using design to advance social impact. You don't need to be a professional designer — you just need a good eye, basic design skills, and the eagerness to learn and grow.

The questions are:

  1. Please expand on the key experiences (life or work) that prepare you best for this position?
  2. What draws you to working in the social impact space, and how do you think design and marketing can advance mission-driven work?
  3. Walk us through your creative process. When you're tasked with creating a social media post or graphic for a specific purpose, how do you approach it from concept to completion?
  4. Please provide 2-4 samples of your work or a link to your portfolio. (This can include social media content, graphics, website designs, class projects, or anything that demonstrates your creative skills!)
