M&A Analyst

Ingredion Incorporated is a global powerhouse in the natural ingredients sector, impacting lives through innovative products. The M&A Analyst will collaborate with the Corporate Development and M&A team to drive the execution of M&A transactions and support strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support all members of the M&A team with the execution of M&A transactions including acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures
• Assist corporate and regional teams to identify new acquisition targets
• Review of inbound opportunities for strategic fit
• Assist in the development of business cases, data analysis, financial models, and associated presentations
• Support and coordinate due diligence of targets and counterparties
• Coordination of global resources to align on M&A opportunities
• Support M&A related analyses and presentations for C-Suite and Board of Directors

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
• 1-3 years of work experience in investment banking, transaction services accounting or equivalent corporate accounting & finance experience
• Strategic mindset with experience in financial modeling, strategy assessment and project management (i.e., capital projects, budgeting/forecasting, organic growth projects, DCF analysis). Advanced accounting and financial modeling skills are a plus
• Excellent quantitative skill set and comfort with financial statements
• Highly skilled with Excel and Power Point
• Positive attitude, professional, coachable, strong intellectual horsepower and eagerness to learn
• Highly collaborative and enjoys working in teams
• Tenacious and results orientated with sense of urgency and curiosity to diagnose and resolve problems
• Takes full responsibility for own analyses
• Tracks all tasks and status
• Demonstrates sound judgment
• Engage and communicate effectively at all levels, internally and externally
• Comfort tackling multiple projects concurrently, supporting multiple stakeholders
