The Legal, Regulatory Affairs & Compliance (LRAC) Team is responsible for supporting the business with all legal, compliance, audit, legislative, and regulatory work. This includes providing project management support for certain regulatory reports, audits, and implementation of legislative and regulatory requirements. The Project Manager is a key member of the Legal, Regulatory Affairs and Compliance team and provides project management support for both state and federal reporting, audits and implementation work. The Project Manager will collaborate with other members of the LRAC Team and cross-functionally with our business partners. Project management responsibilities include coordinating and completing projects on time and within scope. The Project Manager (PM) will oversee all aspects of the assigned projects. The PM will set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor, and summarize the progress of projects. The PM will also report and maintain the status of projects and project health, while also escalating issues and managing issues to resolution. The successful candidate will work directly with internal and external clients/vendors (where applicable) to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and timeline. The PM will coordinate across departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible with project objectives and scope. Qualifications Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required (experience can be considered in lieu of a degree) and Master's degree preferred Experience At least 5-7 years of project management experience required Team leadership experience required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Experience and familiarity with health insurance, managed care, or health care business environments. Experience implementing regulatory projects. Strong knowledge of project management tools and methodologies. Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner. Excellent leadership skills and leadership record. Ability to translate and communicate complex topics in a variety of forums, tailoring communications to effectively fit and influence the targeted audience, strong executive presence, presentation, and communication skills. Strong verbal, active listening, and written communication skills required. Ability to view the long-range trends and cycles of the business and industry and see the “big picture.” Ability to apply a variety of strategic frameworks to analyze problems and to guide and develop solutions. Ability to challenge the status quo and drive innovative thinking and the capability to successfully implement strategy.
