The Brand Initiatives team, part of Nike Brand Creative, is the tip of the spear for Nike’s most impactful moments! Who We Are Looking For What You Will Work On Who You Will Work With What You Bring • 5-7 years graphic design and art direction experience in branded content, agency, editorial or marketing environment • Bachelor's degree or higher in graphic design or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience • A passion for the Athlete*, Sport and Culture • Solid portfolio of creative work, exhibiting a seasoned background in digital and editorial design • Under the direction of an Art Director, ability to create original design solutions for 2D and 3D execution for consumer experiences: branding, design systems, retail brand direction, social media and digital • Great knowledge and expertise in all aspects of layout, typography, illustration, identity, digital production and publishing across editorial formats and platforms • Thorough understanding of today’s media landscape and how people engage with content, with in-depth knowledge of interactive communication, processes and user-interface design for digital products • Ability to collaborate with and creatively manage freelance design talent • Ability as a mentor, with a knack and passion for helping everyone on the team to grow, improve, succeed, and advance toward collective and individual goals • Ability to collaborate on team efforts while also working independently to deliver on individual responsibilities • Proven ability to flex and adapt to changing business needs while maintaining creative quality • Laser-sharp focus with ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure • Strong time management with ability to toggle between daily and long-term tasks, keeping workstreams moving forward simultaneously • Excellent verbal and visual communication skills; adept at presenting and defending creative work • Strong interpersonal skills with dedication to foster cross-functional teamwork and an open, positive and collaborative environment • Highly developed curiosity and in-depth understanding of design culture, current and past • Astute attention to detail and meticulous organizational skills in service of your creative projects • We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment for all employees and job applicants.
